This is an eagerly anticipated time of year.
After such a long wait we start to find out if all our hard work has paid off.
We are very happy with this year's lambs.
No triplets or quads this season and thankfully no getting every 2 hours through the night to bottle feed.
With such good quality ewes we don't expect any future problems at lambing time again.
Even our maiden ewes, not yet a year old had a healthy strong lamb each, like this one below.
The pink marks that you see on the lambs are how we identify each lamb at birth so we can trace it back to it's mother, in order to keep accurate records before we place ear tags.
